Ashley was two months premature and weighed 2lbs 8 ounces. In the course of a month, she was admitted to the ICU. Parents were informed that her heart would require surgery Christmas Day. Christmas Day brought answers to the prayers of her parents when doctors advised her parents she had a closed-up heart. Ashley didn't require any surgery. After spending two months in hospital, she was discharged with 4 half pounds. Ever since, she's been well-behaved! Her father is of English as well as German origin. The family of her mother originates from Ireland. Her first appearance as an actor was an advertisement to promote the Salon Surprise Barbie Doll from 2002. Ashley's professional career took off when The Ford Modeling Agency approached her when she was just 8 years old. Ashley has been steadily working with the Ford Modeling Agency throughout her career. She wanted to be an actor from the age of 10. Ashley began her career with 35 commercials and moved on to roles in the theatre. It was her main passion to act. Ashley has dedicated her whole focus to the field of acting. Dance and modeling are no longer a priority. Ashley played "Hanna Marin", a character on ABC Family, Pretty Little Liars (2010). Ashley had a short cameo appearance in the music video "True Love" by Romeo Miller, aka Lil Romeo and Solange. Ashley shot a picture together with Britney Spears for Vogue Magazine. The actress is in the NLT's "That Girl".
